The division provides a wide variety of educational programs. Professional staff from Student Affairs are available to speak to your classes on the following topics:

  Academic and Career Decision Making
Academic integrity; study skills, note taking, time management and other student academic survival skills; job search skills; searching for career related fields occupations, and for potential employers; the graduate school search: mentoring, networking and experimental learning opportunities.
  Civil Engagement and Ethical Decision Making
Freedom of expression; hazing; students rights, responsibilities, and expectations of a PSU citizen; classroom behavior; sexual harassment; roommate relationships; conflict management and social justice matters.
  Community Service and Leadership
Service learning and volunteerism; assertive communication; listening skills; effective decision making; team development, community building, and individual and group leadership training.
  Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender Issues;
Multicultural Competence and Enrichment and Women's Issues

Identity development; homophobia and heterosexism; classroom climate, campus environment, hate crimes; human relations; cross cultural communication; diversity; race; ethnicity; religion; sexual orientation; gender communication; age; military; parental status; class; sexual assault; self-defense; men stopping rape; and dialogues on race.
  Physical, Emotional Health and Wellness
Relaxation and stress relief; sexual health; alcohol and other drugs; wellness, nutrition and fitness.
